GritBox was born in Austin when two fitness pros saw the gap between overpriced boutique studios and impersonal warehouse gyms. Jess and Marcus Rivera launched a 6:00 AM outdoor bootcamp with 8 people, 2 kettlebells and a Bluetooth speaker. It wasn’t fancy, but it was focused.
People kept coming back, not for selfies, but for real results. As that gritty morning crew grew, so did the vision. In 2022, GritBox Training Co. opened its doors with one goal: to be the last gym you’ll ever need.
A former Division I soccer player with a background in sports science and group program design. She specializes in progressive strength training and bringing structure to every workout.
